A fun article from the MPLA August 2010 Newsletter:
We have a parade in every town in Delta County over the summer. We LOVE our parades. So when it came time to thinking about the library’s image in the community, the parades were some of the first places we looked to increase our presence. Considering the amazing talent in our district, I gathered those people together and we were able to organize an award winning drill team. We won best in category in every parade and overall best entry in most of the parades. More important that the trophies and prize money was the fact that people were talking about the library and about how fun we were. Now we just have to figure out a new theme for 2011! You can see the entire newsletter here.
